CAT Tracks for May 10, 2008 GUNNING FOR ATTENTION

Talk about screwing up your future with only a couple of weeks to go before graduation!

A Massac County High School senior is behind bars on gun charges. Metropolis, Illinois police arrested 18-year-old Arlen Castenada, III, Friday morning at Massac County High School.

Officers recovered a pistol and ammunition from castenada's car in the parking lot. The 357 magnum was reported missing from a burglary on Thursday at a Ballard County, Kentucky home.

Castenada is charged with unlawful use of weapons. He is being held at the Massac County Detention Center. Bond has not been set yet.
