Wow...who woulda thunkit?

Of course, he IS one of "those people"!

You know...one of those people with a vision...one of those people looking to the future, rather than dwelling on the past...one of those people who doesn't treasure fuzzy memories of the "good ol' days".

Obama Wins Only Six Counties in Heartland

While Barack Obama was a runaway winner in the electoral vote, he apparently wasn't the overwhelming choice in the Heartland.

After tallying the votes from 43 counties in our coverage area we found Obama was the winner in only six.

In his home state, only four southern Illinois counties went to Obama. They were Jackson, Alexander, Pulaski and Gallatin.

In southeast Missouri, he only won two counties Iron and Ste. Genevieve. He didn't win a single county in western Kentucky or northwest Tennessee.
