VIGIL FOR TOMMY ELLIS

An evening of prayer, songs of faith, and testimonial to a hard-working, giving man...noted for traveling the highways and byways, from Chicago to Mississippi, on a moment's notice, day or night, to help those in need.

The message was one of hope, not despair...for a busy man whose Maker has granted a much-needed moment of rest...as preparation for many more works of kindness.

Tommy's wife, Linda, asked to speak prior to the closing prayer. She thanked all those who have shown support for her and the family over these past 25 days...through hospital visits, prayers, and by attending the evening vigil.

Linda, also, wanted to take a moment to put to rest various rumors that have been circulating during this trying time. She assured the audience that Tommy is very much alive, fighting for recovery, and, yes, making progress.

A "love offering" was collected from those in attendance and presented to Linda Ellis and the family. If you would like to make a donation, I am sure that it would be greatly appreciated.

Please continue to keep Tommy Ellis and his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers...
