In searching the card store for the purrfect greeting for today, this one won out...

...but not for the obvious reason.

I did not pick the card for the green cat. Just one look at the expression on the cat's face was a big two-paws-down. I seriously doubt any purring was heard in the filming of this card. In fact, knowing the typical aversion of cats to human bathing, I suspect that "Lizzie" may be sporting long sleeves and green wig because the cat inflicted considerable damage in the process.

Even the use of the familiar "O'Shea" was not purrsuasive. Back to the green cat! Madam CAT O'President would not condone such a practice and certainly would NOT dye her own Mr. Lucky.

Nope...

The reason for my selection of this particular card - despite the shaming of such a noble member of cat family - was the message contained within:
