SPECIAL BOE MEETING...Minutes |
CAT Tracks Editor's Note:
Very "short and sweet" minutes...
A quorum arrived at 5:09 p.m. and the meeting was called to order. Eventually all six BOE members arrived (along with FOP Member Andrea Evans.)
No visitors asked to be recognized and the BOE approved the agenda.
Interim Superintendent Justin M. Miller announced that there would be two interviews:
The BOE voted to enter closed session at 5:11 p.m. (Each candidate was interviewed for approximately 45 minutes.) The BOE voted to exit closed session at 8:12 p.m.
Interim Superintendent Miller announced that they would table the hiring of a superintendent at this time while they reviewed the two interviews and compiled the data.
The BOE voted to adjourn at 8:15 p.m.
The original post follows...
Send in the clowns...
...we've got to have a superintendent next year.
Not-so-great expectations...
With the departure of Justin Miller, I certainly hope the second tier produces an acceptable pretender to the throne.
Failing that...
PLEASE!
Hire one of the ten little applicants, because it is no Agatha Christie mystery that if we get down to "And Then There Were None", he who shall remain nameless will make a triumphant return...with his plans to settle scores.
Better a clown than the devil we know!!!
Oh, I'm sorry...
I digressed...again!
The Cairo Board of Education (insert your own catty comment) will hold a Special Meeting on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 5 p.m. Below is the notice and agenda...
