CAT Tracks for May 4, 2012 HEADS UP

Two newsworthy items were making the rounds yesterday:

• A correction to the 2011-2012 (i.e. this year's school calendar) puts Friday, May 25th, as the last day of school (rather than the previously announced Monday, May 29th.)

  He who shall remain nameless struggled with making school calendars from Day One...never could get one right. His final attempt held true to form.

• Apparently there will be another special meeting (Tuesday, May 8th) of the Cairo Board of Education...another candidate interview in their continuing search for the successor to "He Who". Am assuming the meeting will be 6 p.m.

  No word if the latest candidate is one of the original 10 applicants or one of the next round of nine...or someone entirely new. Stay tuned...will post the official agenda when it is received.
