Stacy Kinder, President of the Cape Girardeau Public Schools Board of Education, clearly demonstrated why she was elected to her position of leadership...
...pleading, cajoling, and forging a compromise that broke the deadlock over proposed changes in the District's student dress code.

The length of effing shirts? Even in the bad old days at Cairo High, we never worried about the length of shirts!
Well...
Increasing the length of said shirts from the wrist to the fingertips will surely make the kids a helluva lot safer, smarter, whatever!
At least jeans lived to fight another year...
...and carpenter shorts, cargo shorts, shmargo shorts made the cut!
Actually, I took comfort from reading the article...
After spending/wasting much of my life attending meetings of the Cairo Board of Education, it is refreshing to know that we are not alone!
Damn, if it's not true...
...the adage that:
"Misery loves company."
"I would rather there be some changes than none at all."
