The Republicans started this education reform shi...uh, mess, when George W. Bush compromised Republican "states rights/local control" principles with No Child Left Behind. (Now, their rank-and-file are rebelling. Oh, happy day!)

Then comes "Democrat" Barack Obama, throwing gas onto the fire by funding NCLB...

...selling out the very people (union people) who put him into office. (And, yeah, the stupid NEA leaders endorsing him for his efforts against their behalf. Sigh...)

Let the backpedaling begin...

...it's certainly preferable to the backstabbing of the past four years!
