CAT Tracks Editor's Note:
Once again, Madame CAT President had to go it alone.
For the past week, I have been battling a "fever of unknown origin". Hopefully, an extensive battery of tests run today will eventually expose the culprit. They tested for two types of Lyme Disease, two types of Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, West Nile Virus and a whole bunch of stuff of which the medical coding lady had never heard. In my "normal" state of mind, I couldn't help myself, but I was able to bite my tongue...
... yep, my bet is on "cat scratch fever".
Anyway...
Not knowing whether my affliction was contagious, I chose to quarantine myself.
So, a special thanks to De De for the information presented. Any errors are mine and mine alone.
Who knew?
That there would actually come a time when I would rather have gone to a school board meeting than stay home and watch DVDs?
After years and years of listening to the Cairo Board of Education plead broke and that "the sky is falling, the sky is falling" (despite millions of dollars stashed in the bank), I could hardly fail to miss the irony of the DVD now playing on my home entertainment system...Season Two of "Falling Skies" (a TV series about alien invasion.)
Yep...
Even though I didn't venture forth to the board meeting, I still got to see my goodly share of aliens tonight!
