Bullying of Teachers Pervasive in Many Schools

Some employees think that if they keep their mouths shut (and their lips puckered), they will be fine...that there is no need for a union.

During a teaching career spanning almost four decades in Cairo School District Number One, I witnessed many a "butt kisser" end up being targeted for abuse. It was through no fault of their own, it just suited the administrator's whim.

Administrators will use you as long as it suits their purpose. If and when their agenda changes, you may well become expendable.

Thus the adage:

"There is no honor among thieves."
