CAT Tracks for September 11, 2012
DID I SAY CRANES?

Maybe I shoulda said buzzards!

With all the mouldering carcasses lying about Cairo, scheduled for crane munching...

...fifty delectable menu items that should satisfy any normal crane's appetite.

Well, fire up the grill over the weekend and see em' come runnin' bright and early Monday morning:

Oh, well, can you really blame em'?

People have been known to travel many a mile for good ol' Cairo BBQ!

As celebrity chef Rachael Ray would likely say:

"Yum-o!"

However...

From the scene of destruction and devastation, I think maybe Emeril Lagasse said it best:

"BAM!!!"

POSTSCRIPT:

After posting this entry, I received an e-mail from a loyal reader of CAT Tracks who pointed out that I had missed an obvious and very appropriate catty comment concerning the "chef" who made an appearance at the site of the former Levee Restaurant yesterday morning:

Considering that it was a crane:

"Iron Chef"

The reader did offer the observation that "Iron Chef" is not morning fare...

But, who says that the Food Network was not filming this entry for our later viewing pleasure?

Might want to check out your cable/satellite guide for day and time!
