Disturbing indeed is the coalition of "...various muscular organizations (e.g., the Business Roundtable, the Chamber of Commerce, teachers unions, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation)..." identified by Mr. Will as pushing the Common Core agenda while ignoring the growing opposition of the public at large.
Talk about strange bedfellows...
At least from recent reports, it appears that President Randi Weingarten of the AFT has realized that this situation does not pass the "smell test".
As for the President of the National Education Association Dennis Van Roekel...
...it may take an event of Biblical proportions for him to see the light!
