Hey, look at the bright side!

The General Assembly and Governor "played nice" with the active employees under the new law...

...cut their contribution into the retirement system by a percent (to make it look like "negotiations" and more acceptable to the expected court challenge...after already "buying off the judges by taking their retirement out of the mix.)

So...

With "death panels", Illinois would probably throw us retirees a bone...

...a two-week notice or something!

Time to settle the estate, have a final fling.

What more could one ask?

Okay, on that depressing note, I'm out of here!
