"Education reformers dismiss poverty as an "excuse" given by bad teachers and "defenders of the status quo".
Goes to show:
"Education reformers" don't know what they are talking about...
...or, more likely, they do know poverty matters, but it doesn't serve their agenda, their profit motive.
