INSANE...

...at any level!

However...

Despite scientific research (that repeatedly demonstrates that teacher evaluation systemes based upon student scores on standardized tests are seriously flawed), the "education reformers", their bipartisan politician supporters, and the mainstream media keep flogging "failing teachers".

A very wise person once said:

Teachers are not going to fix the education problem. It is a societal issue. Everybody with any sense knows it but few will admit it.
