Common Core Needs a Czar

John Wilson, an avowed supporter of the Common Core, raises many of the same issues as Diane Ravitch, an outspoken critic of the Common Core (at least its improper use to terrorize teachers, to rank and close public schools.)

But...

Dear John:

Your "cure"...

We need a Common Core Czar. The Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) and the National Governors Association need jointly to select this person and fully empower him or her.

Really!?

Is this Common Core Czar going to be "empowered" to overrule the President of the United States and his Secretary of Education?

Not to mention the rabid education reform Governors!
