Merit Pay For Teachers Is Only Fair

I mean...

Using a typical evaluation system:

• Excellent
• Very Good
• Good
• Fair
• Poor

I hereby deem that merit pay for teachers "is only fair".

Okay, okay, I'm being generous...

I would actually award "merit pay" (because of the solid reasons given in the first page of the article) a solid rating of POOR!

However, with holiday feelings of charity and giving in the air, I'm giving merit pay a generous rating of "fair".
