After reading the opinion piece above, I have an idea for a new title for "The New Public".
Since "Waiting for Superman" is taken...
...how 'bout: "Waiting for Common Sense"?
I mean...
It took our idealistic teacher three damn years to "make a change"?
He may have been idealistic, but evidently not the sharpest tack in the box!
In the spirit of the season...
I shall refrain from further ranting or raving, aka catty commentary.
Instead, in closing, I shall offer another possible film title...
...a play on the title of ABC's new superhero TV series S.H.I.E.L.D.
Our documentary about Brooklyn Community Arts and Media, aka B.C.A.M. shall be entitled:
S.C.A.M.
