HOW THE DIRTH STOLE LEARNING

Okay, this post goes into TWSRN...

...but in a seasonal way...

...with the requisite storybook happy ending!

Found a yuletide cartoon strip when visiting "The Answer Sheet" by Valerie Strauss.

But, the print strained my aging eyes. Found that if I zoomed the view in my browser to 200%, it was highly readable.

However, since not all "CAT Tracks" readers are tech savvy and are apt to use a multitude of browsers and/or operating systems, I quickly discarded any attempt at providing a "how to" guide.

Instead, I launched a Google search for a link to an alternate website that would present the comic strip in a larger size.

Well, my search yielded mixed results. The second website presents the comic strip in the same size as in "The Answer Sheet", but there is a straight-forward "fix guide" (I think, I hope.)

After reading the "intro", click on the first panel of the comic strip. That should isolate that panel on your screen. If you then look at the bottom of the screen, you will see individual icons for the 17 panels of the comic strip. Place your cursor on the second icon and click, etc. (In fact, in my system/browser, the icon strip advanced itself so that all I had to do was keep clicking to view the entire strip. (When you get past the "intro panels", the actual "How the Dirth Stole Learning" panels really zoom.)

Sorry for the "instruction guide", but, hey, it's like the infamous "some assembly required" on those presents that "Santa" delivers on Christmas Eve! (The good news...no batteries required :-)

First up, "The Answer Sheet", followed by "The Real Mr. Fitz"...
