Okay, I kept my promise...
...steering clear of "education reform" stories for the remainder of 2013.
It's been another frustrating year and, sadly, 2014 does not promise to be a "Happy New Year!" (There is hope in New York City, where the new mayor promises to reverse the course of his predecessors. Let us pray that this will be the beginning of the revolution to take back education.)
Valerie Strauss posted a lengthy letter from a teacher who vented her personal frustration with what has been going on in public education for the past decade. I'm sure that you can relate.
