STEM-deficient education holds back nation’s economy
CAT Tracks Editor's Note:
William Bennett?
In case you forgot:
It doesn't matter if they're black or brown or white, female or male, Democrat or Republican...
...according to whomever might be the United States Secretary of Education...
...teachers suck and public education is a threat to the nation's economy.
Hell, (as some Chicken Littles have clucked) our effing national security demands change (change that just happens to line the pockets of the business community.)
The screaming headline: "STEM-deficient education holds back nation’s economy"?
Hell no!
It's the 1% (and the wannabes right below "trying harder" to reach the top) who are raping and pillaging the United States economy. It's not the workers - educated or not - who are moving factories and jobs out of this country seeking sweat-shop, cost-cutting measures to increase their already ridiculous profit margins. It's the "robber barons"...the bankers and CEOs.
As they and their kind attack unions and pensions, their kind make off with their "golden parachutes"...
...take Walmart.
Whew!
Anyway...
With that kind of contempt of public education, regardless of who holds the office, it's time for cost-cutting measures.
Republicans have suggested it since "Day One", and it's time to fulfill their wish...
Disband the United States Department of Education!
