DUMB AND DUMBER? |
In the case of Arne Duncan, I must reconsider...
...just plain dumbass!
I mean...
...some might want to give him credit for having the balls of a brass monkey, but I'm just going to chalk it up as 'Exhibit Z' of his cluelessness. (Note to self: Gotta switch the 'Exhibit' accounting system to numbers, where they've got that 'infinity' thing!)
For United States Secretary of Education Arne Duncan...
...he who once said:
No one wants to stay in a job where they feel unsupported or unable to advance in the profession and still do what they love."
I mean...
...for the point man in the Obama Administration's constant berating of public education and its practitioners (now even going after tenure and due process rights) to bemoan that teachers feel "unsupported", well:

CAT Tracks Editor's Footnote:
Two things:
"The best thing that happened to the education system in New Orleans was Hurricane Katrina."
...to complain that:
"...far too many effective educators are leaving the field early, and part of the problem is a lack of opportunities to make their voices heard.
