I am serious about "No Common Core" for the summer!

Read a Washington Post article yesterday that almost made me break the rule, but I held strong. (For the article, click the link in the opening sentence of Diane Ravitch's post below. It's an eye-opener.)

And, no, neither Bill Gates nor Arne Duncan has called a press conference to admit that they were wrong about the Common Core (my previously cited cause for breaking the "No Common Core" rule.)

But...

The fact that Diane Ravitch has been moved to call for a Congressional investigation of Gates' role and his close connections with Arne Duncan and the United States Department of Education...

...well, hell, it's too good to pass up!
