Six Questions About California Districts' Waiver

Damn...

President Barack Obama uses waivers to bypass Congress and excuse kowtowing states from the "law of the land" because Congress won't pass something to his liking, and threatens to veto anything not to his liking...conveniently keeping his waiver system in place.

Illinois Governor Pat Quinn withholds the paychecks of legislators because they won't come up with a solution to the pension crisis, even telling them which solution they must pass if they ever want to get paid again.

And both of them Democrats!

In education, Obama is living down to the expectations and worst fears of the Republican Party...trampling all over states' rights, using Race to the Top as his extortion weapon of choice.

Here in Illinois, Quinn resorts to an even more blatant form of extortion. Madigan and Cullerton need to quit talking lawsuit and start talking impeachment.

Whether on a national level or a state level, extortion is a crime.

Sadly, "We the People" of the United States and Illinois are willing to follow these demagogues...

...so far.
