The Dickensian future is now in New York schools...
...a scene that will be repeated nationwide when CCSS testing visits a classroom near you.
Friends and foes alike are predicting big drops in standardized test scores when the new Common Core assessments are administered.
It is anticipated that there will be "public outrage"...
...and fresh (unfair!) attacks against public education and teachers.
