Gun accidentally discharged inside Cape Girardeau restaurant

Permits acquired by those who want to "feel safe" when venturing out in public.

Now, what can the rest of us do so that we feel safe when going out to dine or shop where these folks are careless enough to wander about unlocked and loaded?!

Well, I guess we can buy and wear body armor.

I know, I know...

...I'll thank my lucky stars (and the NRA) when one of these concealed carry advocates shoots down the bad guys who walk in and try to rob or terrorize a restaurant or a mall.

On the other hand...

...there's the "friendly fire" tragedy at Walmart.

Bears repeating:

It's sad, so sad, it's a sad, sad situation, and it's getting more and more absurd.

POSTSCRIPT:

Buy/own a gun to defend your "castle", I'm all for it.

Take your gun with you shopping, dining, DRINKING?

Not so much...

...in fact, not at all!

If a person is that paranoid, they need to stay home, barricade the doors, and post a sign in the yard warning the rest of us to stay the hell away!

Nobody got hurt. Officers questioned the man and let him go.

According to police, the man did not violate any city ordinances.

No harm, no foul?

And if a fellow diner had been struck, maimed, or killed?
