DOUBLE DIPPING

From the Southern Illinoisan

Former school superintendent collects pension and state paycheck

CAT Tracks Editor's Note:

So...

...because of a few fat cats (cats, not "fat CATs", because there sure as hell aren't any of those!)...

...the State of Illinois is going to F-over Illinois retirees who had to work for years to make what the fat cats made in one year...

...those same Illinois retirees who are barred from "double dipping", i.e barred from drawing Social Security benefits even though they were required to pay into Social Security when they took non-education employment trying to supplement their substandard teaching incomes...

...and who don't even get a refund of their contributions?

Yeah, sure, let's break our promise to, our CONTRACT with, Illinois retirees...

...now that they don't have a job, can't get their old job back, and can't acquire one of the lucrative jobs given to the fat cats.

Lisa Madigan...

...you and your daddy should be ashamed of yourselves!

But, of course, that ain't ever gonna happen.

Ashamed Politician?

Gotta be one of those oxymoron things!

And, when you and your daddy retire (or finally get "fired" from your elected positions), you both will surely draw more than one pension and be hired as consultants at more per year than any non-superintendent teacher ever dreamed of making.

Lisa:

Better be careful with your arguments before the Supreme Court...

...you might mess up YOUR good thing!

Oh wait, I forgot...

...you're not going to argue double dipping...

...you're going to argue how all those damn little people are breaking the bank!

How convenient...
