My mind works in mysterious (predictably CATty) ways.
When I read the headline below...

...my mind flashed back (an encouraging sign at my age) to a comment made by a Cairo High School student on camera during the 1994-95 strike...
...when the reporter asked her if she was missing school.
After the student responded that she was okay with being out of school for a month, she added the reasoning:
So...
I would venture that if you did a follow up survey of students, rather than "residents", their answer to "Are you getting enough STEM?" would be the same as my response about shoveling snow:
"Enough, already!"
"Those teachers are trying to teach us more than we want to know."
