WHERE HAVE ALL THE TEACHERS GONE? |
From NPR
Where Have All The Teachers Gone?
CAT Tracks Editor's Note:
The obvious song to accompany this question/story...
Where Have All the Flowers Gone?
To their shame...
Barack Obama, Arne Duncan et al would sing this tune with joyous gusto...
...to celebrate the passing of those dedicated professionals they have run off.
In accordance with their happy view of the dying teaching profession, they would most likely take liberty with the final stanza and sing:
Sadly...
...message received.
Where have all the teachers gone, long time passing?
Where have all the teachers gone, long time ago?
Where have all the teachers gone?
Good riddance, every one.
Oh, when will you ever learn?
We don't care if children learn!
