More bad academic news for local school districts.
In response to my previous post, I received an e-missive from a knowledgeable CAT containing the link to a website, reminding me that Pulaski County shares our pain. The link certainly magnified the misery, but failed to bring the relief implied by "misery loves company."
The website below provides a listing of Illinois high school students who have been named 2015-16 State Scholars for their outstanding academic achievement.
If you click on Alexander and Pulaski Counties, you will find...
...nothing, nada, zero.
