To recycle Arne's infamous quote:

"It's fascinating to me," said Mr. Duncan in 2013, "that some of the pushback is coming from, sort of, white suburban moms who — all of a sudden — their child isn't as brilliant as they thought they were and their school isn't quite as good as they thought."

I mean...

...if powerhouse Illinois schools New Trier, Adlai E. Stevenson and Hinsdale Central can't pass the PARCC, then what's the point of administering/taking the test?

The only thing that PARCC showed - that everybody in the world already knew (whether because of their political agenda they would admit it or not) because previous tests showed the same thing - is that rich communities do better on standardized tests than poor communities.

Was that "finding" worth the billions of dollars spent, President Obama/Secretary Duncan? Was it worth the disruptions caused and the untold hours of education lost in test prep, Barry and Arnie?

On second thought, don't answer that, you'd just lie...

...you who are claiming a "Christmas miracle", you who are claiming that the new ESSA is "cementing your legacy".
