Romney, McCain: Trump a danger for America's future

CAT Tracks Editor's Note:

The Republican quest to pick their candidate for the 2016 presidential election...

...top-rated, prime time, reality television...

...starring, appropriately, veteran reality TV star, Donald Trump.

I have stayed away from campaign commentary...

...and plan to continue.

Hey, consider it a campaign promise!!!

But, I just had to break my silence after reading the above article...

...where you have the past two Republican nominees for President of the United States saying in no uncertain terms that America's future is in danger if The Donald is elected president...

...and Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and John Kasich - after tearing Trump a new one in last night's debate - vowing to support him in the general election?!

Actually, I am not inclined to give John McCain's advice much credence...

...since when he ran for president, his first decision was to choose Sarah Palin to be a heartbeat away. Talk about danger!!! Talk about a reality TV star...

...and dysfunctional family.

And, just in case I keep my no-more-talk-about-the-campaign promise...

...don't even get me started on the Democrats.

Contrary to the average voter, my main focus in considering candidates is education...

...and the Clintons (contrary to the endorsements of the NEA and AFT) have never been friends of the education issues for which I care. The Clintons were behind the Arkansas "education reform" movement which had a lot of similarities with the NCLB program later enacted by Dubya.

And Bernie? An avowed socialist? Ask the Soviet Union how that worked out for them! Oh, that's right, they aren't there anymore...

...not even visible from Sarah Palin's house!

Postscript:

If I had to choose between Donald Trump and Ted Cruz?

Go Donald, Go Donald, Make America Great Again!

Ted Cruz is the real danger to America. He actually believes the vile stuff he spews...

...whereas The Donald just says whatever the hell he thinks you want to hear so that you will elect him President of the United States.

After being elected, Trump's response will probably be like the Robert Redford character in the 1972 movie "The Candidate":

What do we do now?

Better a pig in a poke than Cruz control!
