DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES ON K-12 EDUCATION

The sound of crickets chirping...

Since Diane Ravitch didn't take potshots at the Democrats, I will.

Expect more of the policies of Barack Obama and Arne Duncan...

...sigh.

Bipartisan scapegoating of teachers and their unions rules the day...

From Education Week

Why Aren't Democratic Presidential Contenders Talking About K-12 Policy?

CAT Tracks Editor's Note:

Hopefully you were able to access the article above...

...although if you weren't (getting the message that you have already read the allowed three articles for the month), you didn't miss anything. My "intro" adequately described the sorry state of education on the national political front.

FYI: I did finally bite the bullet and subscribe for 6 months of digital access for $29 so that I could read all about it.

Accordingly, I will resume reading/posting more articles from Education Week...

...and may inadvertently exceed your 3-per-month limit.

I will try to remember to give a "review" of the articles that won't infringe upon copyright laws. That way, if you are barred from access, you will know if it's worth paying the price of admission.
