Governor vows to help state employees, local unions voice skepticism

But, this story just reinforces my criticism of Lisa Madigan. Her stupid move opened the door for this Brucefoolery.

Plus, the lawsuit by Attorney General Lisa reeks of conflict of interest since her daddy, Speaker of the House Michael, is locked in mortal combat with Bruce Almighty.

The Madigans are probably taking comfort in the fact that the union bosses are downplaying the lawsuit and slamming the governor.

But...

...what the Madigans and their fellow Democrats need to realize is that just because the bosses back them doesn't mean that the rank-and-file will vote for them at the next election.

If they are feeling cocky, they just need to look at the recent election for President of the United States...

...at how many women, how many Hispanics, how many educators voted for DJT.

Many state workers who voted Democratic in the past are likely to change their allegiance once their paycheck stops coming.
