There have been no CAT Tracks posts in recent days because it's been uncommonly quiet for the first week of 2017...
...not counting the Republican's on again, off again, attempt to gut the Office of Congressional Ethics so that they could rape, pillage, and plunder America at will.
I'm sorry...
...maybe "rape" was a little harsh. The Republicans probably would have restrained their sexcapades (as an act of homage to our soon-to-be-President) and limited themselves to grabbing pu..., pu..., privates. Maybe.
As for the "pillage and plunder" part, well, that's just (big) business as usual...
...from those same party that brought us The Great Depression and The Great Recession...
...and now herald The Donald's Great TRiUMPh.
Anyway...
...comfort yourself with the old adage that "no news is good news"...
...and hope that it's not a case of "the calm before the storm".
After all, January 20th is rapidly approaching!
