The Washington Post asked Clinton, Trump for their education vision. Here’s what they said.

Donald Trump?

A "cheerleader" (for school choice)?

After this past week...

...I cringe that the next sex scandal headline will read: "The Donald & The Cheerleader".

Hillary Clinton?

An accomplished dancer.

She avoided a clear answer to my major "education" concerns...

...high-stakes testing and its use in teacher accountability...

...along with the explosion of charter schools which are in most instances providing no better or worse education than the community public schools, while draining resources from same.

Unfortunately, I do not think that Hillary will break from the Bush-Obama obsessions.

However, Hillary's answers clearly show her in-depth knowledge of the devastating effects of poverty on children, her first-hand experience in trying to alleviate same, and her knowledge of and commitment to public education.

So...

The "choice" between Donald Sound-Bite Trump and Hillary Clinton is clear...
