Why Does the White Working Class Vote Against Its Own Interests?

So it's okay with the disaffected members of the white working class that the rich (Donald Trump and his billionaire buddies) to get richer...

...as long as they stick it to black people...

...even if in the process poor whites lose benefits themselves.

Sounds like a case of cutting off one's nose to spite one's face...

...but, hey, the black folks lost their nose, eyes, and ears!

Also sounds like a case of "divide and conquer"...

...the rich safe in their golden towers while the poor folks of all colors fight over who gets to eat cake, crumbs.
