As any cat own..., uh, cat companion would expect, most cats were not impressed.

Also not surprising, the negative results of the taste tests did not dissuade the cat companions from purchasing from a variety of beverages:

• Catbernet
• Pinot Meow
• Meow & Chandon
• Purrgandy

Hey, at least it may boost the self-esteem of cat companions who felt shame at being solitary drinkers.

Also, studies have proven that animals sense the moods of their human companions. Pets may see the world differently, through their own eyes, but they can detect when their human companion gets tense.

So, as they curl up on the couch in front of the television to watch the nightly news and the cat feels the human tense, the cat glances toward the TV to see what's the matter...
