The Cairo Board of Education held its Regular Meeting on Thursday, February 16, 2017, at 6 p.m.

The BOE advised three employees that it would be in their best interests to be at tonight's meeting, not telling them why their presence was being "requested".
Then, the BOE made them sit in the hallway cooling their heels for two hours before Madam CAT President finally knocked on the door and reminded the BOE that the employees had long distances to drive to get home, and school to attend to tomorrow.
In short order, the employees were allowed in (separately) to answer the BOE's questions and allowed to go home. (Total time spent talking to the three employees? Ten minutes max.)
Feel very fortunate you were not among the chosen few, the summoned few.
After a 3-hour Closed Session, the BOE voted to approve the action items on the agenda in two minutes flat!
The BOE voted to adjourn at 9:52 p.m.
