CAT Tracks Editor's Note (Continued):

Back in Trumpland...

...his "taking charge" with public appearances is only going to get worse. In fact, he's got a campaign-like rally scheduled for this weekend. He's gotta feel the love, in person. His ego demands it. Hey, it's been a rough month (not that he would admit it.)

That's who The Donald has always been, as is evidenced in a book that I am reading: TRUMP REVEALED. Whenever his various business dealings went south (including five bankruptcies), he would find a way to get media attention, brag about his empire, deny any problems, and blame everyone else for perceived failures. Needless to say, as President of the United States, he no longer has to try to get media attention, the media following him 24/7. And he loves it, bragging in the past that there is no such thing as bad PR.

So, buckle up, we are in for a wild ride...

Postscript:

My buying a book about The Donald is proof that his shtick works.

I did, however, make sure that the book that I bought was by "the enemy" (reporters for 'the failing Washington Post') so that not one cent of my money (in addition of to my federal tax dollars, sigh) would go to further his empire. But, he's got my attention and that's what makes him happy. Sigh.

Sadly, the old Chinese curse has come to be, we definitely live in interesting times...
