With four seats to be filled, those elected to the Cairo Board of Education for a 4-year term were: Brenda Gooden, Mary K. Coleman, Sheila Nelson, and Rodney L. Moore.

So, 3 of 4 incumbents were re-elected, and Moore (a former BOE member) replaces McBride (who is the current President of the BOE.)
