Conspiracy Theorist in Chief

CAT Tracks Editor's Note:

The biggest downside of spreading conspiracy theories is that it's contagious.

In the aftermath of the missile strike on Syria, I am left to ponder:

• Did The Donald order the missile attack to change the news cycle, to get the news media to quit talking about the Russian involvement in the election that put him in office?

• Is it just a coincidence that Syria's biggest ally is Russia and that this missile strike would "prove" that The Donald and Vladimir are not in cahoots, as alleged in the "fake news" of the national media?

• Is Putin's "outrage" simply his contribution to The Donald's shenanigans, his role to play in disputing the illicit connection?

So, when the little President cries wolf...

...he causes the rest of us to start howling at shadows too.

Two articles that I found interesting, post-missile strike...

...that contributed to my conspiracy theory:

From The Washington Post

In striking Syria, Trump risks confirming the worst fears about his presidency

Russia condemns U.S. missile strike on Syria, suspends key air agreement

Okay, if the "Times" (and CAT Tracks) have got you down...
