Wah, wah, wah.

My favorite songs of all time are heavy on political protest.

Bob Dylan, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Crosby, Stills Nash and Young, Sam Cooke, Bruce Springfield, Bob Marley and the Wailers, Edwin Starr, Don Henley...

...well, hell, the list goes on and on and on.

A major Beatles/ex-Beatles fan, I liked Paul McCartney and his "silly love songs", but, if I had to choose, give me John Lennon's outspoken lyrics anytime, every time.

So, Nikki, you and your boss may want to restore those times that Bob Dylan said were a-changin', those "good old days" that weren't very good for black, brown, and poor whites...

...but some of us, and according to popular vote totals from November 2016, most of us prefer a different direction.
