Received a "final" follow-up e-mail from ROE #30:
Subject: ROE #30 Annual Teacher Institute Program Attached

Good Evening,
Please see the attached updated Annual Institute Program. *This will be
the final document you will receive.* Please plan to bring a printed copy
of this document if you do not plan to utilize our online system,
SCHED. (All of the minor updates on the attached document are also saved in
SCHED.)
We have a few *very large sessions* in our program to note:
- David Braun, an attorney from Miller, Tracy, Braun, Funk & Miller, is hosting sessions on *Keeping Yourself Out of Court: Protecting Your Job in the Digital Age* in the auditorium. These sessions can hold up to 300 people each.
- Shawn McClain, an attorney from Guin Mundorf, is hosting sessions on *The
Do's and Don'ts of Social Media* in the media center. The media center
will hold up to 60 people for each session.
- Melissa King is hosting two sessions called *Teaching New Skills to Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Identifying* and *Preventing Repetitive and Other Problem Behaviors in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder* in room B109. This room will hold up to 50 people.

ROE #30 Annual Teachers Institute Final Program

Subject: ROE #30 Annual Teacher Institute Program Attached
Good Evening,
As previously indicated, this year we are utilizing an online scheduling
program for the annual institute called, SCHED. You can access that
program here: SCHED LINK. In addition, directions for using SCHED are attached to this email.
We know that some of you still prefer a paper program so I have attached
one for you to this email. *Please print and bring the paper program if
you plan to use it. *We will have a limited number of paper programs on
the day of the event at the sign-in tables for you to use.
Parking, sign-in, and evaluation information are included in the attached
program and in the online program, SCHED. Please look that over to plan
your arrival to the institute.
*Even though you see this as an option within the program, we do NOT
guarantee seats in sessions this year. This year seats are first come,
first served. *We are staggering our adoption of all the elements of SCHED
and will utilize that element next year.
Our ROE #30 staff will be offering technical support from 8:00-8:30 AM just
west of the breakfast area and from 12:00-1:00 PM in the same location.
Feel free to bring your questions about licensure, truancy, fingerprinting
and more!

- Aric Bostick is hosting as session on student engagement called: *Turning Your Class Into a Team!* Aric planned this session through conversations with our office about the great need in our area for support in student engagement strategies. This session can hold up to 1500 people and I believe includes free teacher tools after the event!
Please consider these sessions in your planning as they were designed to
hold large numbers of participants.
