The Cairo Board of Education held its Regular Meeting on Thursday, February 15, 2018, at 6 p.m.

'Minutes':

BOE Vice President Vernon Stubblefield presided over the meeting in the absence of President Sheila Nelson. Arnold Burris was also absent.

Closed session was from 6:30 p.m. until 7:25 p.m.

Both resignations listed on the agenda were accepted.

The hires:

  • Dennis Hansen as High School Softball Head Coach

  • Janiece Blake as High School Softball Assistant Coach

  • Alvin Wiggins as BOTH Boys and Girls Track Head Coach

  • Keoshia Ingram as Junior High Girls Track Head Coach

  • Mike Brown as Junior High Boys Track Head Coach

  • Keith Campbell as High School Baseball Head Coach

  • Nick Davis as High School Baseball Assistant Coach

  • Cheryl Arington as Social Worker for Cairo Elementary School

The BOE voted to adjourn at 7:38 p.m.
