The Cairo Board of Education held its Regular Meeting on Thursday, April 19, 2018, at 6 p.m.

These comments are followed by the original supporting documents with the addition of the approved amended 2017-18 School Calendar and the 2018-19 School Calendar.
COMMENTS:
The BOE entered Closed Session at 6:48 p.m. and exited at 8:37 p.m.
No action was taken (no mention was made) on entering into an agreement with the Cairo Police Department for a School Resource Officer for the 2018-2019 School Year. Stay tuned.
The BOE voted to approve the other items - 7. (3) a., b. c. - on the agenda.
The BOE also voted to move the 6th Grade back to Cairo Elementary for the 2018-2019 School Year.
The BOE voted to adjourn at 8:41 p.m.
