CAT Tracks for July 2, 2017
CYBERBULLYING |
It's summertime and the living is easy...
...so the 'technology-can-do-no-wrong' folks at eSchool news dusted off the following post from January, just in case we were fortunate enough to miss it the first time.
The intro from their e-mail:
We think these stories not only provide news, but elicit big-picture questions and ideas about education that are perfect for weekend ruminations. So sit back, relax and enjoy!
Best,
From eSchool News:
Cyberbullying is NOT a technology issue-here’s how to really combat it.
CAT Tracks Editor's Note:
Damn, if it ain't the NRA's response to the slaughter of innocents...
...technology doesn't kill people, people (especially teenage girls) kill people.
This is exactly why you don't see many posts from eSchool News on CAT Tracks anymore...
...they tend to make this old dinosaur mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this (publish it) anymore!
Then, again, as CAT Tracks approaches it's 20th anniversary online, I will have to give one nod to the NRA...
...I'll give up my keyboard when you pry it from my cold, dead hands.
Welcome to Weekend Edition, our latest newsletter focused on providing articles and stories that the editors have hand-picked for leisurely, weekend reading.
