CAT President's Report:

Open session members present: Coleman, Harris, Stubblefield, Gooden, Nelson. Moore by phone.

Informational:

• No baseball team this year due to lack of interest.

• Unless we use some days for weather, the last day will be Tuesday, May 28. Students will pick up their report cards on that day.

• Friday, May 24th is Pre-K Graduation.

• Saturday, May 18th is High School Graduation 10:00 am. The speaker is James Gibson.

• Sunday, May 19th is Junior High Graduation at 3:00 pm.

• Roofing repairs were discussed.

• CES and CJSHS Climate Survey will be handed out. No date given.

The BOE voted to enter closed session at 7:40 pm.

The BOE voted to exit closed session at 9:00 pm.

Actions taken by the BOE:

• Approved Carrie Bridges resignation (retirement).

• Hired Laresha Reed as High School girls assistant softball coach.

• Hired Dorice O'Shea, Tena Harrell, Melissa Hawkins for after-school tutoring at CES.

• Hired Catherine Scott for after-school tutoring at CJHS/CHS.

• Approved Health Life Safety amendment to be done by architect.

• Approved Apprenticeship Opportunity for 2019-2020 school year with the 773.

• Approved roof replacement.
