CJSHS GETS EXTREME MAKEOVER |
If you've glanced at Cairo Junior/Senior High School on your way out of or into town, you've surely noticed a lot of activity.
What's going on, you ask?
Well, the main project is that the original 40-year-old roof is being replaced. However, the most striking part of the project is a complete "face lift".
Immediately below is a picture of the finished project. (Please excuse the poor quality. The original wasn't perfect, and it was small. Enlarging digital pictures results in a loss of clarity. But, you get the idea.)
CAT Tracks Editor's Note:
It's been awhile since I've offered any catty commentary. The times we find ourselves aren't conducive to levity. But, with the extreme makeover of my old stomping grounds, I'll make an exception:
Beauty, as they say, is only skin deep. As soon as you walk through the new-and-improved portal, you enter the same old dingy, claustrophobic building.
Instead of lipstick, Cairo Junior/Senior High School needed WINDOWS!!!
