The Cairo Board of Education held a Special Meeting on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at 5:30 p.m. for the purpose of reviewing the District's School Uniform Policy.

All Board of Education members were present...

...along with numerous parents who came to the podium to express their opinion on uniforms. After much discussion (sometimes loud), it was decided to have a special meeting/community forum on uniforms. This will be held on Monday, July 15th at 5:30 p.m. in the Cairo Junior/Senior High School cafeteria. All parents need to attend and vote on whether they want to keep the uniforms or not. All opinions need to be expressed at that time. A vote will be taken.
